Hi, I’d want to delete my Beammp forum account, because I’m not comfortable using Beammp services and the Beammng modification with the current moderation system. I did not find any button inside of the account settings, please help me out.
what button inside the account settings?
We do not allow for the deletion of accounts with recent moderation history; that defeats the purpose of having moderation history.
To say that you’re not comfortable with using BeamMP with it’s current moderation system is an interesting approach, as before replying I went and reviewed the situation that has led you to make this post. The action against you was 100% justified based on the evidence recorded and it’s really an odd take that our team protecting the playability of others makes you uncomfortable.
Hi again
It seems that you didn’t provide any helpful information to my previous inquiry, therefore I must request an anonymization of my personal data linked to my account again, this time more formally. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 17, I am requesting to erase all personal data associated with my forum account, including my email address, and any information linking the account to me. If there’s a specific rule / regulation I should know about, please provide it next time, because saying “We do not allow for the deletion of accounts with recent moderation history”, is not a legal basis for an account deletion request. Thanks.
honestly, the only thing you can do is just delete ur pfp and change ur name to something random
or.. make a bad thing and get suspended
Hello again,
There is, in fact, legal basis. Under Article 17(3)(b) and Article 17(3)(e) of the GDPR, the right to erasure does not apply where processing remains necessary for compliance with legal obligations and for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. This includes the retention of identifiable internal moderation and enforcement records. In addition, in order to meet our obligations under the UK Online Safety Act and to maintain effective safety, enforcement, and audit processes, we are required to retain accurate and verifiable records relating to enforcement actions. These records are retained solely for compliance, security, and dispute-resolution purposes, are not publicly visible, and are subject to strict access controls and retention limits.
However, while we are well within our rights to deny requests of this type based on the circumstances surrounding your account history, we have discussed and agreed to make the exception for you in this case. However, the request needs to be submitted via proper channels, which is by email to [email protected].
Once submitted, we’ll do a final review and move forward from there.
well that’s no way to delete your account…
