I’ve been wanting to play a sort of botched splitscreen with my little brother, and for a while, KissMP worked perfectly fine. Now, though, it’s completely borked and I can’t connect to my server because of a lua error. I know I could probably just install 0.23 from the Steam beta menu, but both my little brother and I want to play splitscreen while still having all the modern parts of the game. Anyways, I try using BeamMP, nothing works, I get a core bind error:98 if I try to launch it twice. Doesn’t matter if I use the Linux and Windows native versions at the same time, only the first game I launch is able to connect to any servers. I’ve also explored virtual machines, but that doesn’t work either because the VM doesn’t even start.
Try the vanilla local multipklayer, you can’t reliably launch to instances of beammp on the same pc
run 2 instances of beamNG with different userfolder, run two beammp launchers that run on different ports.see Changing the Launcher port - BeamMP Docs for how to change the launcher port

Thanks for this information, I actually had no idea you could change the launcher port. I always thought that the only port that could be changed was the server port when hosting one.
