I have around 140ms in Brasil servers. Im from Argentina and my other argentinian friend gets around 40ms.

Sadly details like the latency (Ping) are impacted by a variety of details including but not limited to your ISP (Internet provider), Wifi vs Ethernet/Wired and more.
If you are using Wifi try getting a cable to connect over instead, this often can improve the quality of the connection. Additonally you can try running a test on a service like SpeedTest.net and see what your latency is like on that test. If it is higher than your friend here too then it is likely to be either your ISP or the general infrastructure in your area that serves your house.
