Problem code 5

hello! I need help with BeamMP Launcher v2.7.0. I am constantly getting the following error: [ERROR] Failed to find the game please launch it. Report this if the issue persists code 5 Also, the console shows: [ERROR] logger file init failed!.

My setup and what I’ve already tried:

  1. Game Path: My game is located at C:\Games\BeamNG DRIVE\Bin64\BeamNG.drive.exe.

  2. Config file: I manually edited the Launcher.cfg file in %appdata% and set the correct GamePath with double backslashes.

  3. Administrator Rights: I am running the launcher as an Administrator.

  4. Permissions: I have granted “Full Control” permissions to the C:\Games folder for all users.

  5. Steam: Steam is running in the background.

  6. Launcher Location: I have tried running the launcher both from the %appdata% folder and directly from the game’s Bin64 folder.

Despite all this, the launcher still cannot see the game. Does anyone know how to fix “code 5” for non-Steam versions or if there is a workaround for this version of the launcher?
