Server connecting start nothing else after

Im trying to join my friends server. i go to download the mods i get to 32 out of 73 mods then tells me start and doesnt do anything. manager says connection term. im not getting any thing else than that no matter how many times i delete the manager from my pc. i have 400 giga bites on my storage and a stable connection how do i fix this im lost and just wanna play

WHO NEEDS 72 MODS ON A SERVER???
actually 72 mods is literally so much for a server tell your friend to remove some its gonna use 10 gigs of your storage

storage isnt an issue

yes i have the space for everything

try official servers check if you can run them

they run just fine

then tell your friend you cant connect and maybe remove some mods

have your friend upload all of the mods to a website (such as modsfire) and manually install them yourself
