Hi! Very good question. So, as of December 2024 we’ve started a movement to clean up the names and bring everyone back into accordance with our user guidelines. This has, so far, led to the suspension of 100+ accounts. The people who are suspended get a message instructing them to choose a new name for their account at which time the name is changed and the suspension lifted. As you can imagine we’re working our way through the very worst of the worst first such as racist names, those targeting children and the main swear words. “FentanylDealer” will also be suspended once we get to their “chunk” of the username roster, and they will also be required to change their name, but we are very early in this process so you might see some questionable names driving around still.
While we are not asking our community to report every questionable username they see, as it is our fault that we didn’t have a name filter prior, we are blocking any attempts to register new names that will just need to be removed later this year.
