Hi CooperDoesBlackMIDI here!
its been about half a year ever since my appeal, I never really got a response ever since then, I am still looking forwards to get any response from the appeal and would like to happily join the discord server again, however, due to the incident from half a year ago, there will still be small hints from the aftermath including sometimes not talking in voice chats, being inactive suddenly etc. etc.
if no action will happen, there is a chance that I will end up quitting beamMP as a whole, in order to go back to the Undertale fandom.
if action will be taken, then there’s a chance I will get back to the beamMP fandom once again, and also provide hints for making the server more user-friendly ecosystem, I will also refrain from ever talking about discord 3rd party clients ever again.
you can either allow 3rd party clients, which will make it easier to maintain a good user balance.
or you can keep banning 3rd party clients and ruin about a half of the discord platform user’s days.

Hello! The best thing to do would be to re-appeal, it is possible that when you appealed the first time the length of time between your violation and your appeal was considered too short.
Let me look into your case, but for the time being please file another appeal.
Also, it’s 2025, Undertale isn’t a thing anymore. . .
Undertale fortunately is still a thing to this exact day as I’ve seen multiple fanmade anniversary songs from 2016 up to this exact year.
Ok, so, we’ve come back with a result to your appeal, since you started it here on the forums I can reply to it here. Your initial violation was the usage of a modified Discord Client which is a breech of the Discord Terms of Service. We only handle this particular issue when we discover it through public posts because that’s how we find out about it. You were asked to remove it and you started a fight with the moderation team.
What got you permanently banned is what you did afterwards. You threatened to report the project to Discord for NOT enforcing the very TOS that we were enforcing against you, putting our main communication hub to our community in jeopardy. The only way to counter this false report that you threatened to file was to permanently ban you and keep the records to submit to Discord, which we did.
This was, of course, after we told you you were welcome back if you stopped advertising Vencord on the server which is, again, a Terms of Service Violation.
Now, when I replied to you here I didn’t remember all of these details, but as your appeal came through to our moderation team we cracked open the file associated with your ban and read through it.
Due to your threats against the project we cannot unban you from Discord, that ship sailed when you said you were going to report us to the platform.
At this time your appeal is
Denied and we will not accept any further appeals.
Sorry if this is not the direction you were hoping for this to go.
Cheers,

i am not responsible for most of the feedback recorded by reviewdb nor the aftermath of what would happen to other users with 3rd party clients.
I don’t think you understand an ounce of anything that took place.
You were using a modded client. Did we care? Honestly, no. But you were flaunting it and we as a community are required to enforce Discord’s Terms of Service (incase you don’t know what ToS means) when using their platform. That is not our choice, that is a requirement by Discord. If it’s not brought to our attention, we don’t act on it.
We informed you that it was a breach of ToS (there was your warning, since you act like you received none) and you instead chose to fight us about it, proceeding to threaten to report us for not enforcing ToS, even though the entirety of that was exactly what we were doing.
This back and forth about trying to say that we should allow modded clients proves that you have zero understanding of the situation. We don’t get to pick and choose what of Discord’s ToS items we enforce, otherwise I’d be happy to allow modded clients as I am in agreement with you that they provide vast improvement to the software.
Moving on, I see that you have provided a list of violations and I assure you, we will take them very seriously.
It appears that what is happening here is that you are attempting to threaten us, once again, though this time I’m not sure what service these “violations” are in breach of. That said, in response to your continued threats against our platform, access to your account is being revoked and you are no longer welcome in the BeamMP Community. Any further appeals will be immediately invalidated.
I am always happy to have a discussion of how we can do better, but these discussions will not result in threats against our community, especially when the “suggestions” are literally ToS breaches that could cause us to be shut down.
