Please describe the issue you are having in as much detail as possible:
i can access beammp(both the website and the backend/launcher) with a vpn but not without it. yes the other programs work and i can access other websites.
either im ip banned/blocked or this could be a region block.
which in both cases: “why?”
Please provide any evidence or demonstrable content of the issue:
Hey, is your country of residence Spain?
nope. Iran. also i have to type more than 15 characters(ignore this part).
just confirmed that this is a region block.
my question still stand though "why?*
Are you able to access Cloudflare (http://104.21.96.1)? If Cloudflare is blocked it is out of our control.
yes i can access it.
its just says: Direct IP access not allowed
You’ve requested an IP address that is part of the Cloudflare network. A valid Host header must be supplied to reach the desired website.
Also cloudflare doesnt just region block. it is usually the site/server owner that tells cloudflare to block a region.
Cloudflare could have been blocked by your isp, but I suppose not. Are you able to run nslookup beammp.com
in cmd? It should return that ip among others. If it doesn’t return anything try charging your dns.
i dont have the nslookup package but i did use “host -v beammp.com” which basically said yeah you can access this site.
im also going to do some other things to see if its an issue on my side, given that the terminal can access the site(the launcher still cant).
fixed.
the problem? i dont really know but purging the network-manager and installing it again worked.
also never forget to have a offline installer of network-manager before purging it. found out the hard way.
Also sorry for the acquisitions lol.
to be fair though this why i thought you guys did a region block:
translation: This site has sanctioned Iran and shecan supports it.
No problem, I suppose in cases like this it can be confusing.
