"App can't run on this PC"

Issue

When trying to start the Launcher, I get " App can’t run on this PC".

Solution 1

  1. Right click BeamMP icon and open file location. If doing this from start menu, you will need to open file location again on the file it highlights
  2. Delete all the files in that folder
  3. Download EXE from https://beammp.com/builds/launcher?download=true
  4. Replace the launcher EXE in the open folder with the newly downloaded launcher EXE. Ensure the filenames are the same.

Check your antivirus software - try adding the BeamMP installation folder to the list of exceptions
