Behavior regarding dynamic Vehicles / Props included in modded maps

It would be nice to include dynamic props in a server such as cones, standing pylons or barrels to be hit and knocked about for certain events, the issue I have with this is that if said props are added in via world editor and packed into a mod beforehand, when loading this map with a server, only some of the props will synchronize between players, the rest can only be interacted with locally. I experimented with the vehicle cap, pre-reloading them upon joining as the host, reload all keybind, nada, if I reload them; half of the objects simply opt to disappear, the rest duplicate themselves in place and flip out as a result. So, the server can’t handle props not spawned by a player in the server; and that makes sense. Simple solution; I add every prop myself after running the server, done. Though, not so easily- this becomes problematic when we’re including upwards of 30 props, as placing and aligning them to the terrain gets to be quite time consuming.

I am by no means even close to a BeamNG guru, and I just barely understand world editing and mod making… if anyone has found any solutions for this, please do share, if I missed something in the FAQs or deeper in the forums, feel free to point and laugh.

Incl. the error that occurs when trying to interact with the “bugged” props

Hi Dorito, I’ve moved your posting to Discussion Areas > BeamMP as it does not qualify as a Support topic. Hopefully you can garner the response you are after from the community and find a way to allow the placement of interactive props. BeamMP is a platform that allows user contribution so if you or someone else figures out how to do this in a way that can be implemented to the platform please let us know and we can review it for consideration.

As it stands this issue is not on the official docket.
