Can’t create account

My friend is trying to create an account and it’s telling him the username is the same as his password, even though it’s not. Has anyone else experienced this??

Hello, It sounds like your friend has at least some similarity between their username and password.

Please have them ensure there isnt any similarity, for example if I was to create an account called FiremanSam and make my password F1r3manSam these would still be similar.

Ideally they should be completely different from each other.

Thanks for you reply. his name and password he’s trying is completely different from each other. Not sure what to do about this.

Could he try an automatically generated password, such as the one suggested by most browsers when there’s a password field?
