Cant install the launcher

Every time i go to install the launcher it says “The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another.”

But i never get an option to select another.

It looks like you are trying to install the launcher to an invalid location, try installing it to your C Drive

it doesnt let me change where im installing it

are you implying this is not your first time installing beamMP?

what’s going on inside your %USERPROFILE% or C:\Users\?

go to apps & features, delete beamMP, then run to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\ and delete folder BeamMP-Launcher, if it still exists

if the problem persists, create a new local user. your registry is ■■■■■■

ill give it a try and let you know how it goes

Didnt work. Any other suggestions?

I FIXED IT USING APPWIZ.CPL. so what happened was the hard drive i had beammp on corrupted so when i removed it it caused this error, uninstalling it did nothing. but appwiz actually got rid of it fully so i could reinstall it.

yyyeeaahh… appwiz.cpl does literally the same what i just instructed. anyway it was an obvious %USERPROFILE% corruption, surprise!!! glad you got it working

let us know when you’ll need the registry fixed as well, because you can’t just appwiz.cpl your way out of that
