Failed to communicate with the auth system! on linux

I just installed BeamMP following the official guide for linux with proton. (Manjaro)

I get the “Failed to communicate with the auth system!” error.

https://auth.beammp.com/ping returns “OK”
No traffic to auth.beammp.com gets blocked by my firewall.

Hello, this seems to be an issue with Cloudflare’s ssl certificates, which we use. Please see Error on Arch Linux after update? for more information.

Hi, okay so there’s no solution to this?

I was hoping there was an argument to ignore SSL errors. Like --insecure for curl

there is a workaround: downgrade ca-certificates-mozilla to 3.110

edit:

dont downgrade all certs. better and more secure: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate · Issue #186 · BeamMP/BeamMP-Launcher · GitHub

Thank you. Downgrading fixed it for now

i am getting this same issue but when i try the fix it says that the mozilla 3.110 not found and this is what i get in the consul

get the cert from beammp.com and install it SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate · Issue #186 · BeamMP/BeamMP-Launcher · GitHub
