Help with server!

Hello. I’ve been having some issues with my server. It started last week when my perfectly functioning server decided not to work. It is a private server that me and my friends play. All of my friends have legitimate copeis of the game and the mulitplayer mod. It happend when my IP changed for some reason. It then wouldnt let my friends into the server. I looked into it, and changed my port forward IP to my current IP, yet it didnt work. I checked my Auth Keys, and they were functioning. I checked with multiple of my friends, and they all got port forwarding issues. Not only have I checked my IP in the port forwarding, i have also re-done the exact same port forwarding process multiple times (the same way that i did it the first time to make my server work),and troubles still arose. If anyone could aid me into solving this, that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

The only thing we can really do is direct you to our server creation guide, if you have followed all of the steps you can try to just wipe everything. BeamNG, BeamMP, the server, and restart from scratch, however, since this issue was produced when your IP changed it might be an ISP issue. The topic seems to have been deleted, but the last time we had a report like this the user had to contact their ISP and get something fixed or activated. . .it was quite a while ago.

The first step to take might be to find out why your IP changed which could indicate where the issue is. Unfortunately, being blunt, no one on the Support staff will be able to sit down with you and work through this issue step by step since we don’t know if this is a ISP, server, BeamNG or BeamMP issue.

If you can narrow down the possibilities to either your server or BeamMP itself we might be able to chime in.

I wish you luck.

Goodish news. I have redone the port forwarding, and have done some firewall fixing, and it still gives my friends error code 10060. It says it is a port issue, yet I have redone the port, AND have fixed the firewall. With that being sorted, any advice on what to do next?

Have your friends attempt to direct connect.

I have. Same code, 10060.

If the public IP on your router is different than what you get from a website like https://whatismyipaddress.com/, you’re most likely under CGNAT and there is nothing more you can do.
The alternatives in that case are to either ask (and pay) your ISP for a “real” public IP (static or dynamic, the choice depends on the isp) or use a hosting service.
