wanna know how I can be more sigma than you? watch. @trebor8820 I got an experiment for you guys to agree on up on top. try making all the servers 2 vehicles. early supporter etc will STILL…give them the ability for 3. but I feel like we should alll see how people interact with one another and if the theory is true that we cant have nice things. or. if we can find the trolls and bad users and bonk them on the head and keep things under control. kind of a social experiment but also a stress test on all the servers. is beam mp able to do that like RIGHT NOW? if so could you vote on doing the 2 vehicle per server thing across all servers at least for one week? or how about on the weekends? I want all of you on the top to experiment and be creative this year and try not to trip over yourselves or get carried away. I want to see how this goes and how many people are creative vs those that whine and start fights with others on here. I want to see what happens
I want to see if people pass that kinda test to see if people on here can handle 2 vehicles per server instead of just 1.
This will most likely make all servers unplayable for people with low end or average systems.
I have an 8 core system that can barely run 10 vehicles. Doubling the vehicle count will most likely prevent that system from loading in entirely.

Admittedly most BeamNG players will have a high end system so the % of high end cpus should be a higher, but even then 6 & 8 core are very common. So there will be a lot of people that will struggle to run official servers.
Maybe we can add more 2 vehicle servers besides the italy one and east coast 4.
ahem, dont wanna be rude, but one should know what kind of game they are playing beforehand. if 2 vehicles per player is too laggy for someone - they should play on 1 vehicle servers instead, or just simply delete players client-side.
beamMP’s development should not stagnate due to 1 guy having framerate problems. that is up for beamNG devs to optimise performance.
speaking of which, who decided to host a 2 vehicle server in the US and none in europe?
BeamMP is not a social experiment.
Keep in mind that users with the most capable machines are the minority. There are significantly more people who struggle with frame rates than there are those who can handle 20+ cars in a server.
if i were those users, i would just not play the game. it’s locked behind a hardware wall. to access it, get a better computer. or not! their choice.
in other news, valve returned their cheap 64 gb steam decks (correction: refurbished), you can get an octacore for cheap, like, RIGHT NOW.

It’s not that simple for the majority.
The initial suggestion was to make all servers 2 vehicles per player so that wouldn’t be possible. And we can’t really expect people to always have to delete half the vehicles.
remember when i said about over a year ago there should be an option to queue players in and out (load/unload) only around a certain distance radius? well, there should be such an option. let’s take this to another thread…
sapphic has a point… but can we agree to compromise somewhere inbetween being blunt and overkill for lower systems and awesome for higher end users? maybe one less server on the official list but its replaced with a 2 vehicle server. I was kind of thinking like 2 single vehicle servers of every one… then 1 2 vehicle server for every one and one 3 vehicle server for very popular maps like … utah or… caldara bay… but. with a disclaimer. if you arent using your trailer. DESPAWN IT so others can play the game with better piece of mind?
replying to the keep in mind part… I used to have an HP15T dy200 and… … fps was average of 10 in ten player servers before it drops slowly down to 6. it was. a. SLIDESHOW. I know what they have to live through
