How do i play with my friends without making a server

me and my friend doesnt want to make a server but we want to play together privately is there a way to do so? and if so how

Hi,
There is no way to play together without first joining a server. Setting up a server is relatively easy so long as you know how to port-forward. They can be made private so that only you and your friends can join them.
