Option:
- Hazard lights(/ on keyboard) and dodging them(outdriving them) and not using the chat. Don’t give them ammo verbally.
- Honking in intervals of 3 short honks. 3 long honks. 3 short honks. Then a pause. Anyone that knows morse code will intervene hopefully. ( if not refer to option 3)
- Move to another instance and refer to 1 and 2 if players stalk you. Open a trouble ticket in the discord if you have an account at that point and take a break from the game if they are making it impossible for you to play. Remember to keep your cool.
Saying things like “back off” does work. But it may trigger them to lash out more… Make sure your respawn isn’t where they are bullying you. Its a driving game and if they want to make themselves a hazard for you and others. Make it recordable and OBVIOUS they are doing it on purpose…
This isn’t for anyone that is like “yeah duh” its for the shy. The ones that don’t understand how to fight back against bullies and others who just are not english speaking fluently who feel trapped or cornered. I hope this guide helps fight back against power abusing bullies and bad actors if and when and where they appear.
Context to why I did things in this order:
I have had a long time of thinking this through and usually server hopping is a first choice but then I started to think about how:
1: it takes a long time to download or load into another server increasing wear on the device
2. Just leaving the server is a green light to them to just go completely off the rails even more because they think they are winning when people leave that they target. Tyrannical bullying stuff
3. Standing up to a bully even if youre doing so by telling them to back off can defuse them and shatter that ego the tend to have. Or. It will piss them off and make it easier for them to be recorded and banned if they are straight up causing problems over and over. It means this strategic anti bullying option list is ment to take some weight off staff digging through evidence. And it should clear up some misunderstandings. The SOS honking will hopefully catch someones ears and they may start asking whats going on. Bringing unwanted attention to the bully will put the pressure on them to knock it off. If they want to gang up on you and there’s more than like two of them… Leave that instance and take a break but tell someone about it
