Issue

I’m situated in the Russian Federation or Belarus and I can’t play BeamMP. I’ve looked at other FAQs and they do not solve my problem.

Solution

It might be that a DNS situated in Russia is blocking some IPs BeamMP needs in order to work.

  1. Change DNS Servers to CloudFlare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8), or another DNS provider outside of Russia.

  2. Use a VPN.
    Please make sure that
    2.1. You’re not breaking any laws or circumventing any sanctions
    2.2. You use a VPN you trust

Hello there, I reside in the United States, but I believe that VPNs can still be effective in Russia. Therefore, it’s worth considering using a VPN.
The rationale behind mentioning VPNs is that they enable you to alter your virtual location using a VPN service.
