Installed but still won't connect to server when I click Direct Connect

I followed the tutorial to set up a server and I get a connection failed error. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is the server hosted the same system as in the screenshot?

I believe so. I gave it a different server name in wordpad when I followed the set up instructions but it does run with no errors in wordpad.
