hey guys so my friend here recently got beammp, vanilla servers work however when he tries to download any mod it just gets stuck at 50% and does not budge. is there any fix to this thanks
One thing I am seeing in your screen shot that the mod is downloading at a speed of 3.2 megabits per second which indicates that the network connection is extraordinarily slow. There is a possibility that the download is progressing, but due to the speed seems jammed at that percentage. I would recommend trying servers closer to your friends geographic location or taking a look at their service plan with their ISP. A speed of 3.2Mbits/s is even below the recommended network speed for services like Netflix.
Allow the download to sit for a while and see if it progresses.
Meanwhile I’ll summon @Protogen_1 to see if they have any further insight, they are better at computer brain than me.

Make sure beammp is the only enabled mod and that the C:\ isn’t red
I have the same issue, i am trying to set up a beamng server on my one laptop, other laptop trying to join, if i have mod(s) it will be extremely slow (also around 3mbit/s) even tho i have 1gbs download and 100mbs upload, it will also get stuck at 50 for me.
edit: btw its not progressing, i left it for hours
any solution found? i am facing the same issue and nothing seems to help

If you’re in the same network use the LAN IPv4
If it’s still slow check your Laptops Firewall and make sure you have enough storage to store each mod 3 times
