Since there was a native linux port of beamng drive released, is there any plan for supporting that port via wine/protontricks?

Since Wine/Proton is a compatibility layer for Windows Applications, it wouldn’t make sense to develop a Windows BeamMP Launcher for the Linux version of BeamNG.
I recall seeing a BeamMP developer stating, that they will be working on native Linux support for the Launcher, but sadly, I can’t find the thread anymore.
