How to play BeamMp on 0.34.2 version of Beamng Drive? It tells me to update the game but my pc cant run newest versions

i dont believe you are confident enough in your cybersecurity expertise to experiment with downgrading the client binary which is your only source of defense against RCE or literal privesc exploits (cos lua is an easy script lang to crack, especially glua in gmod lol) that you download with the mods from SOME of the servers on beamMP (e.g. modland cheap meshlaps), orrr simply worse netcode performance… but if you know what you are doing, get v2.3.2 or something, and disable auto updates:
./BeamMP-Launcher --no-download --no-update

it allows you to launch beamMP without downloading the main ‘multiplayer.lua’ mod updates, as well as the launcher updates, as underdocumented here, though it always pulls the latest .lua anyway, so you will need to find an archive or compile an older branch urself. this is what ppl do with cracked clients (oh what people DONT do to get their beloved e34/r34 into beamMP, is a good question!), so get used to it. and you asked ;p
