New Rules: BeamMP Rules - #3
These rules are outdated.
Hello all, with a big community we have to enforce some rules to keep everything at its best. Please read cerefully the following rules, thank you!
General rules applied to the forums, Discord and in game:
1.1. At no point is any amount of discrimination, sexism or otherwise acceptable.
1.2. Any type of blasphemy is not permitted to any member of the server or community.
1.3. Respect and mannerly behaviour is expected at all times, any type of bullying or harassment will not be tolerated and action taken with an according to punishment.
1.4. No NSFW, pornographic or offensive posts are allowed within the community.
1.5. No spamming within the forums and our Discord Server.
1.6. The server is multinational, however, English must be the only language spoken, unless stated otherwise.
1.7. No inappropriate profile pictures.
1.8. Any server glitches must be reported and any use of exploits is not permitted.
1.9. No publishing of personal information (including real names, addresses, emails, passwords, bank account and credit card information, etc.) is permitted.
1.10. No political/religious statements or discussions are permitted.
1.11. No linking to other servers or advertising of communities unless confirmed with a high-level member of staff.
1.12. All work/code in relation to the BeamMP Multiplayer Mod/Plugin is owned by the developers and may not be reused/sold elsewhere unless confirmed with Titch or another designated personnel.
1.13. No impersonating staff or developers in or outside of the community, this includes official BeamNG Staff or moderators.
1.14. If you see a user/staff member breaking the rules, feel free to report it to the moderators or admins with some proof.
1.15. Cracked copies of the game are not allowed and do not work with the Multiplayer mod as we only support the legit, Steam-bought version of the game; if youâre caught with a cracked copy of the game, you may be kicked from the Discord server. The staff can ask you to show a proof of purchase such as the game in your Steam library, if youâre suspected to use a cracked vesion.
1.16. Any attempts to crack or reverse-engineer the launcher, server or mod will result in a permanent ban issued by one of our moderators/admins.
1.17. Our mod is intended to be used only with our launcher. Any user-made modification to the launcher and/or a custom made launcher will lead to a permanent ban from our community.
1.18. DDoS threats are against community rules.
1.19. DDoSing will result in a permanent ban, and possible real life implications
Discord only rules:
2.1. Discord TOS applies in our Discord server. Read here: Terms of Service | Discord
2.2. Majorly off-topic conversation in non-designated chats may lead to a timed mute or kick.
2.3. All members of staff must be respected and any decision may be challenged, provided it is done so in a respectful and organised manner.
2.4. No inviting unofficial bots.
2.5. No @mentioning staff or @everyone.
2.6. No CAPS LOCK.
2.7. Moderators/Admins reserve the right to delete or edit any post.
2.8. No annoying, loud or high pitch noises within the voice channels.
2.9. Admins reserve the right to disconnect you from a voice channel if your sound quality is poor.
2.10. Moderators/Admins reserve the right to disconnect, mute, deafen, or move members to and from voice channels.
2.11. All commands to be done in #
bot-commands (excluding music bot, which must be done in #music-queue).
2.12. Avoid spamming emoticons in chat. This includes reactions on multiple messages
2.13. Purposefully starting fights is against server rules.
2.14. Excessive cursing is not permitted.
2.15. Any hate directed towards staff or members of the community, can and will lead to punishment.
2.16. âSpammingâ in voice channels is not allowed.
2.17. Using any type of IP Grabber will result in a permanent ban.
2.18. Discord or PC crashing links are against the rules.
2.19. Overusing soundboards in a voice channel is against voice channel rules.
2.20. No Roleplay within the Discord server.
2.21. Contacting staff is not permitted unless reporting players in extreme circumstances, we would advise you report in #!player-reporting.
2.22. Any type of âDot Artâ or similar types of message formatting, will be removed and result in ramifications.
2.23. No begging or personal advertising.
Game only rules
3.1. Spawning cars in front of people to ruin the experience of other players is not allowed.
3.2. You canât exploit game bugs to ruin the game for others/crash the server.
How punishments are issued
If you break a rule, you will be punished by one of our Moderators, Administrators or MP Lead Developers.
All staff are informed extensively on how to moderate our channels and community, however, if you feel a punishment was unfair, you may appeal it at: Ban Appeal - BeamMP
Where every appeal is overlooked by Titch, and reviewed by our administrators.
If you have a complaint with a staff member, you may contact @Holyguaka#1895 on discord directly, or make a post on our forums.
If youâre caught breaking the same rule right after being warned, youâll be directly tempmuted/tempbanned at staff discretion even if you donât have 3 warnings.
These rules may be updated/changed in the future, make sure to read the updated versions too. You can see the changelog in the post below.
