on ubuntu you just download the binary from Release v3.4.1 · BeamMP/BeamMP-Server · GitHub , make it executable (for example with chmod +x BeamMP-Server) and proceed like in windows.
probably way better than adding a windows to your linux and running into issues with VM networking…
