Report button, Friending other people, BeamMP exclusive Vehicle menu, Player recommended mods, More Maps Like: SnowTrax, Autobahn 57km, and smth. Hope Its on Official Servers!
I feel like only the tracks will get allowed the other two things are a bit of a stretch with the MP launcher. Sometimes it’s safe for to keep things simple because if you start adding friend requests and other stuff it could get hacked or twisted by bad actors and then beam mp staff may get heavily overwhelmed or something it happens a lot on roblox and roblox has like thousands of people in moderation right now. And it STILL HAPPENS. I dont think the friends thing will work out.
Sorry if im being pessimistic ive just seen so many people being screwed and it comes down to the same circumstances. People sending requests. Then they chat. Then something breaks in an update and SOME BAD ACTOR immediately takes advantage of “all their friends” and then a bunch of bots are suddenly running around. Having dms and stuff just feels like a bad idea. Especially with a bot and bully problem rn plaguing the entire web…
The maps and report button can be implemented but the report system will need to be really robust and foolproof.. plus the chat already catches racism and stuff pretty well and sometimes even better than roblox so yeah. Ive said enough but I hope that clears up where the guardrails may need to be
If we make a friends system I don’t see a reason to add direct messages. It’ll be used to, for example, send invites or see which servers your friends are on.

THAT… will work. what i thought you guys were about to do was much MUCH MORE RISKY like an entire redesign of mp around the chat or something that can be easily exploited. the friends and invites thing. that works. direct messages. leave that stuff to discord and other apps and social media
Yeah I didn’t think of the bottling and bullying problem, but otherwise it’s ok

Yeah roblox is a cesspool of HORRIBLE entities and they concentrate around abusing dms etc after friending people to hack them or use them and its awful. I do NOT want that here. Lets avoid that disaster entirely.

The staff monitor in-game chat so if any racist stuff is said the user who said it will probably get their BeamMP account banned.
