Steam controller with beamMP?

Has anyone managed to get steam controller to work with beammp? I have no problem with my controller in normal beamNg, but when I launch beammp the game doesnt recognise the steam controller at all. Someone know how to fix?

try to add the beammp launcher as a non steam game, could help it.

Launch steam, at the very top, click ‘games’, add non-steam game to library
