The Roles In Forums BeamMP

badges are a confusing thing in the forums.
a lot of badges are handed out randomly, for example i got the member badge totally unexpected.
is there a type of system that picks people who fit into the member level or not?
if so, why is Camodo a regular with less than 7 days visited? who knows, its maybe a discord thing.
now there are some people that dont have discord and think: well, why did i get this role in the first place?
on all of that, around 40% of badges are vacant/without any users and the tutorial badge is rather confusing on how to get it as it only says the completion for it, not where it is located.
personally, the tutorial badge will stay a mystery to me as i dont really know how to get it.
roles are usually overlooked on since people dont really look into them, but if you look in deeper, NEARLY 70% of the game has not filled out their profile info or used a emoji in a post.
there is a purpose you built all of theese badges for, BeamMP devs.
and please, give us some more info on the badges no one has, so its easier and not super hard to get them.

seeing as this went unnoticed, i would add some extra discussion to the ranks:
the discourse app is outdated and doesent really match how users got regular level
ex. they are missing most likes recieved/given than the ammount it is required
btw is an update to the discourse page going to happen? it needs to be updated with new stats
there are less regulars than before so the number needs to get updated
but, seeing as it got buried, i would accept that staff only use the ranking robot that has very random specs for roles do its job, tho maybe fix the regular role requirements as it will make it accurate
edit: after research you do not kinda need likes but i cant really understand it with the 1/5 and 1/4 so, can anyone help me here?

Yes, discourse (the forum software) automatically assigns them based on activity.
For more information please see: Understanding Discourse Trust Levels

Iirc this was manually assigned to him, bypassing all the checks and activity requirements.

To get the tutorial badge you need to message @discobot.

Most users don’t engage with the forum at all after creating their account, there’s not a whole lot going on here at the moment.

What badges would you like to know more about?

hey wiser, about the

sentence, can you announce them on forums aswell? messages are buried too often in the discord server, and you will be doing a good favor for people who dont have discord
also, how do you become a staff here? you have to be on discord aswell or only forums?

We sometimes also post about things on the forum but most of the time it’s forgotten. I’ll try to post more about updates and such on here.

Yes, you need a discord account.
