I’m having a similar issue. When i join the server and the mods start downloading they get about half way through downloading and stop. Never had this issue before. Any help would be awesome. thanks
So when it comes to ANY server running 70 mods you have a high chance of running into issues. It looks to me like your internet is simply saying no to the request to download that much information. Are you able to connect to our official servers listed in orange on the server list?
Hello sorry for the late response. I had copy and pasted another users same problem because i am going through it aswell. I have joined another server with 143 mods and it downloaded them no problem. This is the first time i am having problems with this one server. After about 10 minutes all mods stop dowloading and give me that connecting start screen. Im not too sure what to do now as ive deleted beammp, beamng and all the mods themselves multiple times.
and yes i am able to join official servers with no problems
i had just joined an official server and got a red message telling me something was wrong with beampaint not sure if thats the issue? but still trying
The next thing to check would be to make sure that the drive holding BeamMP has enough space to download all of the mods you are requesting.
hello i had fixed my issue and joined the server now the issue is that none of the other players are syncing they are all running into walls and my ping is just a ? im not sure what wrong i saw another users thread on here with the same problem i guess i should just try to find that to see
the players ? ping ? means a client timeout. basically your internet is unstable, as is also evident by the amount of skipped sockets. it happened to me many times. it is more likely to happen if it takes a long time to load into a map and if there are a lot of players. keep rejoining until your game caches them all! 
or the server is slower by bandwidth than your internet, which is still a possibility considering how cheap you can host a server for

Hello, I just want to thank all those who sent me helpful information. Just letting this thread know that i have found a solution. It might not be what most are expecting thinking i did a bunch of things to fix it, well i didnt the game allowed me 10 minutes of downloading mods before it just stopped downloading them so i sat there and just kept retrying slowly dowloading all the mods. Once i had finished with that i joined the server and ran into that problem but after rejoining everything was fixed. This was only for one server must be a server sided problem.
