What should I do if I get this error?

[24/3/2025 10:47:38] [ERROR] Exception in main(): file size: =x єфрх€ë эрщеш єърчрээущ їрщы.: “С:\Users\user\Desktop\in
tegrity.json”

Do you have a legal version of BeamNG Drive or a cracked version?

what even is that name error???
that seems more like a unknown error, can you provide screenshots?
if you can that would help very much
bye

A similar problem, but the launcher refers to a different path. I honestly don’t know how to solve this problem, but I can roughly understand why it occurs. After reinstallation, the launcher can refer to an old version of the game, which is no longer on the PC. How to fix this, I don’t know, because I still haven’t found the file responsible for this. As soon as I can solve the problem, I’ll write here right away.

In general, one thing helped me. Since my game was almost on the same path as the launcher required, I simply renamed the game folder to the one required by the launcher. After that, the game worked, as did the multiplayer.

I’ll try to explain it roughly now. You require the path C:\Users\user\Desktop\in
tegrity.json, and your game is on the path, for example, C:\Users\user\BeamngDrive\integrety.json
Now, rename the folder on the path C:\Users\user\BeamngDrive to “Desktop”, and voila! The launcher reads this path, sees the game

This can be fixed by launching BeamNG via steam/epic and playing singleplayer for a bit.

Well, I may have just had a different case, and the solution you gave me didn’t help. But what I described above helped me. My launcher was referring to an old version of the game, and no matter how much I tried to reinstall the game or the launcher, nothing helped. I couldn’t change the launcher’s reading path, so I had to adapt to it.
In general, it would be convenient to add a function where each time you install the launcher you could manually specify the path to the game folder. This would make life a little easier and eliminate the occurrence of these errors in the future.

This is correct, playing the game in steam reregisters the file path, the only way it wouldn’t and try to connect with an older version of the game is with a pirated game which we do not support.

If you have a legitimate copy of the game @Muhammed_Abdul please file a support ticket with the Discord so we can look into your particular case and see what needs to be changed.

yeah so ig we found the issue guys
