Why do I get random 5 second lag spikes every 30-60 seconds, none
of my friends say they get them and I have a better pc than all of them. The lag doesn’t happen when I’m the only person on a server, the more people the more often it happens. It makes being on a server with 10 people on it near impossible
No, pressing sync there just sends your current vehicle config to everyone else on the server.
A system to do what you’re asking is in the works.

@daveywaveyhd Alright thank you that made it a lot better, if I hit sync in the parts selector I will see other peoples tunes show up right?
You’re most likely experiening part syncing, or vehicle changes. You can test the part syncing theory by disabling it in the multiplayer menu, but note that other peoples vehicles may behave oddly if they have changed parts on their end (which wont be synced to you).
